with Former WWE Star Scotty 2 Hotty on
the 4th of July at Great America
The day started with fun in the sun at Great America's Hurricane Harbor and continued with rip roaring coasters. Some waited in their seats for upwards of 2 hours prior to the show just to guarantee a spot in the front roowww!!!
Ding, ding...the highlight of the day began promptly at 3pm when the bell rang to begin the first show. People shouted and chanted for their favorite Blitz wrestlers such as: Scarpone, Machine, Rican, Slade, Matty, Hardcore Craig, Christopher Kent and Masaru and screamed for GLCW's John Jesus Yurnet (450) and Matt Knicks. The fans went ballistic when Scotty 2 Hotty made his signature entrance into the ring.
As always, the Blitz wrestlers worked hard, but this time they had one force against them, the 90 degree heat! The blazing sun made wrestling outdoors very tiresome! But they knew they had one hour to gain composure to wrestle again at the 6:00 pm show and wrestle again, they did! With a 100x more adrenaline than the first show; the last match ended in a Battle Royale...a six man match with Scotty 2 Hotty and Scarpone left standing in the ring. Scotty prevailed and ended with his signature WORM. Kids loved the chance to enter the ring and learn from the man himself how to do the W O R M!
